Our Purpose
The Headache Clinic of Denver has one purpose.  That purpose is to alleviate the pain and suffering of those individuals whose lives are shattered by severe, recurrent and difficult to treat headaches.  At times, the headaches have been so severe that their lives, work and relationships are seriously impaired.  Our aim is to restore to our patients the quality of life they want and deserve; such that they can again lead happy and productive lives, both at home and the workplace.  We, in short, seek to prevent your headaches for the rest of your life!

Our Success Rate
Given our wealth of experience, our dedication, the adoption by the patient of the desired life-style changes necessary, the prospective patient can be reassured of being headache free in three months (on average).  Our success rate is as high as 90%.  The most optimal results are accomplished when we and the patient each do our parts.  More severe cases can, of course, take longer.

 
Our Patient Population
Virtually all of our patients have chronic headaches and have been treated without success prior to their arrival here.  Some patient’s headaches have become intractable (constant and resistant to traditional treatment).  In terms of gender, we treat both men and women from all walks of life.  We also treat headaches in children.  We treat patients who have sustained trauma (either from an injury on the job or related to an auto accident).

About the Clinic
The Headache Clinic of Denver is the oldest medical specialty clinic in Colorado, which is dedicated to treatment of severe chronic headaches.  It is committed to long-term Headache Prevention.  This commitment began twenty-five years ago.  

We will remain committed for many more years to come; one patient at a time.  The clinic is lead by one physician.  It is small; this allows it to be intimate.  It is situated in a small building, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Our Strategy
The clinic’s approach is geared toward Long-Term Headache Prevention.  Our methods are scientific, using the latest proven techniques in the field of medicine.  We have the credentials to use this approach, successfully.  The clinic is dedicated to keep the highest of standards used throughout the nation in the field of headache prevention, which has become quite complex and specialized.  Headache prevention aims at treating the underlying headache mechanism involved.  This is different from patient to patient.  This is the reason that care has to be highly individualized, as opposed to having some “blanket approach” to treat every patient.  There is no simple treatment that is appropriate for all headache sufferers.  A patient’s treatment is as unique as they are, and, the type of headache they have.

 
Care is delivered on a one on one basis, from the initial consultation onward.  Follow up visits are also one on one and are extensive.  Patient’s questions and concerns are addressed with care and attention.  We attempt to create a positive atmosphere where the patient feels cared for on a deep level.  Our patients enjoy the undivided attention they receive, and thrive on it.

About Us
Virtually all of our patients have been seen by physicians from different specialties prior to their presentation here.  Some have been seen by chiropractic providers.  Others have explored a variety of fields, including acupuncture, homeopathy, etc.  At times, the patients have been misdiagnosed or mismanaged.  No wonder then, if some patients are initially skeptical and doubtful that any of our interventions will succeed.  We understand.  To you, our prospective patient, we offer an approach which is scientifically based and tested, over twenty-five years.  This clinic’s physician has the required medical credentials, skills and experience, necessary to deal with chronic head pain, and the issues it presents; including depression, anxiety, poor sleep, and vocational/professional problems.
